Maybe you can help maybe not. got a fuzz off ebay, doesnt work right, trying to figure out if the wiring is correct, etc.
Its on a ready to solder board, like the kind you get at ggg's and it says B-Face on it.
The pedal has four knobs and two transistors. I cant see any markings on the transistors.
Also I am a complete novice so thanks for any help in pointing me in the right direction to wiring diagrams, etc.

Can you post pictures of the circuit board? Have you checked FF schematics (just Google it)?

Hi
as well as a photo of the circuitboard (top and bottom), please indicate what values and types the potentiometers and transistors are.  e.g. potentiometers "pots" might be 500kA or 100kB.  Transistors might be marked something like BC107, 2N222A or AC128.
cheers

Could be a Fuzzface with input blend knob and...should be easy enough to determine these circuits = what those knobs do.

  Are they soldered in ?

  GEO>Technology of the Fuzzface.
And RG's 'Debuggging, what to do when it doesn't work', at the top of the threads page.
The transistor markings can be hard to recognize, some inexpensive DMM's have transistor checkers, IWcase the pinout can be found, by trying all pin and polarity configurations, when the match is found, an 'Hfe number' will appear on the dial.
A good thing to select for is gain and try different kinds, sockets are great for swapping transistors.

Hopefully these pics will show up and not too big.
Yes I googled it and went to ggg and all the other sites I could think of. I replaced some of the wires I thought were bad and it worked for a moment
The transistors have no markings on them.

Yo

Yeah its an earlier version GGG boutique fuzz face board. The schematic is on here on the general guitar gadgets site.. http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/diagrams/fuzzface_b_sc_pp.gif
You could probably email them to get a copy of the actual circuit board and components layout since they only have the new one up.
