If I were to use shielded cable (haven't tried before) for I/O, which end do I ground and where?

thanks

You only ground one end and its best to ground to the jacks since you can do it cleanly. Grounding on the switch would just be a mess. You can see the shielded wire running to each of the jacks in this photo so that should give you a good idea of how to handle it.

The First Rule of Shields is ground the quiet end.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

So it sounds like that would be the jack on the in wire and the switch on the out wire?

Can you elaborate more on this R.G. what's the ideal end? if you can link us on how to connect with some picture or visual intructions would be great...
Thanks,
