What is in your experience a good place to use ceramic capacitors for more "grit"?
Tone control?
Input?
Output?
Bypass of emitter resistor?
etc

I like them as input/output in fuzz pedals, for tone I like MKT's

Hi
from memory, they can produce a bit of cross-over distortion, so that would suggest using them where signals are small.

However, x-over distortion mostly sounds bad (to my ears, at least).

Another shortcomming is that they are a bit microphonic, so you could wire one in front, or glued to the side of your speaker box.

But you are aware that this is a slightly weird idea, aren't you?

Have fun
