Looking to build something with a 555 timer or decade counter or other IC that has a synth like sound, im sure there is something i can build, but cant find it yet. Also, looking for real simple adsr circuit to add to a fuzz ive built.

Thanks in advanced

FC, thanks for the link, very cool, exactly what i was looking for.

Still, want any ideas using a 555 and/or decade counter. Any ideas/schematics out there. My main problem is how to get the guitar into/through the 555.

Thanks

I got it!
Crashsync/uglyface into a 4017 with a rotary to select the divisions....you'll need to do something about the massive signal that comes out of the 555 after it's been hit with that comparator set up but it'll work.....actually if you go comparator into the 4017 into the 555 you might have better luck.

This is probably more than you are looking for, but it makes for an interesting project nonetheless...

Breadboard it!

i'll second the uglyface, it's really cool, especially the free oscillating.  I built mine into a wah so i could control the frequency when it's oscillating.
