Hello,

I want to build the R.O.G phozer 2.0, but I have a few questions,

1. It say's on the site, Dv1, Dv2, Rvac1, Rvac2 are the pads that connect to the optocouplers, what are optocouplers, is this just a mod, or do you need this in order to make the circuit work.

2. Are the pots special pots, it says something about dual gang pots, will regular pots work.

I appreciate any help I can get.

Thanks,
Ronnie.

Hi!
Provide a link to the project...

1. Optocouplers are a diode and a photoresistor mounted facing eachother in the same container. Google vactrol. It's a way to solve the variable resistance needed for the phasing. Certainly not a mod. You can bild one yourself with an LED, a photoresistor and some shrinktubing.

2. Dual ganged pots are two pots on the same shaft. You can most likely not trade it in for two single ones. Stick with the plan...
