Hi all!
I managed to gather some spare time from job and uni, so I perfboarded my Distortion+.
I have to say that went way much better with the solderings than the last time, after I watched some youtube videos on this topic; the single pin's solderings came out very good, but I still have a lot of problems when I have to join two or more components' pins together. What happens is that the solder gathers at the base of the pins, and I find very difficult to let the solder flow between them. Any idea? :)
Another question: before soldering all the stuff I tried some diodes, and I found a couple of Ge diodes that lowers a lot the output volume of the pedal; so I tried to use them in the TS808, and what I get is no distortion at all, just a low, clean signal, maybe with a little boost on the bass frequencies. Why's that? I cannot read the name of the component, so I don't know what kind of diodes they could be... Any idea again?? :)
Cheers all!

As far as I know diodes need some (good) food to start biting the audio signal, may be those GE need more current than the other on the TS.

Got it! in fact in the dist+ I allowed more current to flow through the diodes than in the TS808!
