so i built an op amp muff fuzz yesterday and it's got some pretty crazy gating going on. after hours of reading old threads on the matter i saw that there seems to be a general consensus on the 470k-1meg resistor wired in parallel with the diode pair fixing the problem...only it doesn't help my build any. am i doing it wrong? all you do is put the resistor between the connecting legs of the diodes right? this is a pretty big bummer. i've heard clips of the muff fuzz with some nice sustain yet so many people who have built it claim to have the gating problem.
