Question about the McMeat and expression pedals

The Meatball has two expression pedal inputs.  The pistones website discusses using switchable jacks for the expression pedals, but I'm not sure where they are looking at the schematic!  Granted, I'm a noob at all of this, so I could just be missing something simple (it took me forever to locate two resistors on the schematic...).

Just wondering what I'm missing here.

I originally signed up to get help on the Callate Gate 2, but found the answer to my problem in the tonepad build reports.  Thanks to those that submit to that!
