Bassthru - Copyright information - where to find ?

Good Day !

Does anyone know where to find the copyright information for the BassThru ?  Im not trying to take over Moose's position with the Paralooper, but I just want to properly reward the creator of the circuit.  I want to make several of these pedals and give them to my friends.  I think it is beyond a regular DIY project, and I feel I need to pay a liscencing fee to the circuit maker.

On the website, it says Copyright (c) 2006 K&R - But on the Schematic it has a date of 12-24-2003

Can anyone offer guidance on who K & R might be ?
