Anyone got any suggestions for an easy fuzz/od/distortion to box up with a nurse quacky build i have laying on the bench?

Just going to have them both running together for some funky fun messing around.

Cheers

A couple easy fuzz/ODs:

Hemmo's Bazz Fuss: http://www.home-wrecker.com/bazz.html

Dano's Trotsky Drive: http://www.beavisaudio.com/projects/TrotskyDrive/

Both are pretty quick to throw on the board, and use common parts (if you use a regular NPN tranny for the trotsky).

Enjoy!

Note that the Nurse Quacky has no real input buffer.  Whatever you stick ahead of it will "see" two paths to ground at the input, a 100k sensitivity pot and a 47k resistor on the input to the filter section.  If you have a simple fuzz circuit inserted just before it, Any output level control will interact with those two resistors/resistances.  Better behaviour will be elicited if you stick the fuzz on the output.

Thanks Mark

I wouldn't have picked up on that myself  :icon_redface:  not up to speed on theory yet.

Just wanted to warn you about Bazz Fuss:
My BF doesn't work very well together with my crybaby wah (wah to fuzz, crybaby has no buffers). When I put my TS10 between them, it works ok (TS10 is buffered even when off ... impedance issues there, perhaps?). So there might be some issues with the nurse quacky since its a filter too. Haven't tried though.
