Danelectro FAB Metal Pedal

does anyone know any mods for the  FAB metal pedal or would it be best just to part it out for what it is? im looking to turn it into a more milder pedal with just a little more beef.

Most of these use SMD so the parts are really tiny. I would just purchase another FAB pedal that is closer to what you want.

i honestly don't like the sound of them. i already have a wide array of pedals including one that i modded with a Keeley mod. i was just wondering if there was anything i could possibly do with it. i guess ill just have to take out the caps and diodes for another project.

I love the Danelectro Fab Metal! It's got a pretty unique distortion that is surprisingly useful, especially for practice. Don't expect a Bogner amplifier from a $30 pedal though..

true true. i did find it sounded fairly decent but it didn't rank with the boss mt-2 i bought for $50. eh, i got it for free so I'm not complaining.
