I was lucky enough to happen upon a Deluxe Memory Man for $10.00. The problem is, it powers on and the leds come on and the level adjust works but none of the delay works (guy I bought it from put it perfectly: "Memory Man that can't remember anything"). I opened it up to check it out, and it looks like there are definitely some wires missing that should be connected to the jacks. I have just recently started learning about electronics and stuff, and tried to make sense of it, but didn't have much luck.

So, I was wondering if anyone on here could lend some assistance. The PCB# is EH-7850C. From what I can tell by dating the pots it's from around 1977 (if the "78" in the PCB# means "1978," then don't I look foolish?). Any help, a picture of someones working wiring setup, anything, would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Here are some pictures of what I've got:

Thanks again!

Bump...any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I've never seen one "in person"... so I won't be able to help... but you can PM me with your email... and probably get a schematic in reply... ;)
Only those who attempt the absurd will achieve the impossible.

if you can tell us further details, for example, those wires not connected, where are on the PCB?
is there some sound from the Wet output?

Dimitree

I noticed the wire is not connected on the Echo out jack, so it won't sound delayed! also, it seems like there's a missing MN3005.. How many are there on the board? if only 3, then you need another MN3005 to let your delay sound..

uhm..sorry, my error.. No, you only need 2 MN3005 on your board..so I would say, the only problem could be that wire missing on the Echo out jack.. But I don't know why there's a space for a 14 pin IC unsoldered..
