Everyone has built a Red Llama (right?), but what a waste of a perfectly good 4049UBE! How about all those unconnected pins, just sitting there? Here's the answer....put a Mark Hammer 49'er on 'em. This is a great combination: nice, deep low range dirt from the Llama, crunchy mosfet goodness from the 49'er. Mine's collecting dust on the bookshelf right now, since I never have time to play, but sometimes I just look at it and think about the good times we've had. Build it!

There are a couple small changes here and there with the circuits, but nothing major. Thanks to gaussmarkov for making the eagle .sch files available on his site which helped speed the process up.
Have fun!~

Nice!!  Now all we have to do is figure out what to do with the remaining 2 invertors!  :icon_mrgreen:

LOVE the fallout guy face on the board. Gonna have to build this just for the fun that can be had with the enclosure. Not to mention i haven't messed with either of these circuits. Thanks!

I don't suppose I can twist anyone's arm to take the time to convert this to a perf board layout?  Hate to be a beggar in my first post and all  :-\

I'm a just - starting builder with no background knowledge in electronics....it's very far beyond me just now....but I do have a bag of parts and a soldering iron!   :icon_lol:  And a RL is about 3rd up (Bosstone almost done, Electra next), would be cool to have the additional tricks.  I am learning basics on a fairly rapid curve (zomg!  sorted 150 resistors by colour code today!).

Ah, well, can't blame a guy for asking!  Happy Holidays everyone.
