What is the spec for transistor lead insulation, as used on vintage ToneBenders?

yes, I've done a search. I'm also looking on Mouser, however, there's about 20+ pages of wire insulation.

When you strip a wire use the excess insulation for the transistor leads. Done!      If could use the same color insulation as the old pedals if you want to get fancy.

actually, I'd say many, many builders DO care what they used 40 years ago.
