Hi, I'm building a silicon version of fuzz face at present.

Found a vero layout on the net, which I found very useful (This is my first vero attempt),
http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/main.php/v/DRAGONFLY-LAYOUTS_0/album18/album144/SILICON_FF_VERO_001.gif.html,

and I'm just wondering if the C1 should have been upside down? since the purple wire there, i believe, is the input to the vero board.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Nope, it's actually shown correctly on the layout.

The schematic is here:    http://www.antilife.org/pedal/03_fuzzface_schematic.gif

The purple wire is the input, you're right there, but it goes into the negative side of the 2.2uF cap, with the positive side going to the base of the first transistor.  Best of luck with the vero build.  Vero is great stuff for a lot of small circuits like that.

Regards,
Steve
