MT-2 issues

i have a Boss MT-2 I got from a buddy but its broken. it doesnt power on or let signal through bypassed or not. it does crackle when you strum hard however. the LED wont light up and ive tried a new battery. i opened it up and D6 was broken so i replaced it with one that looked similar.

anyone have any problems with your MT-2? any gut shots possibly? thanks!
