I built this
http://www.muzique.com/lab/superbuff.htm
using this layout
http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/main.php/v/Grooveyard/gyamzsuperbuffer.jpg.html?g2_imageViewsIndex=1
and I have some questions. I have a pedalboard with 11 or 12 true mechanical bypass FX and I have been keeping a Danelectro fish and chips on the board, but not really using it. I have also been using a Morley little alligator for the sole purpose of lowering my pedalboard's output. I have found that most of the best sounds I can get out of my board require volume way higher than when all FX are bypassed, so I use the Morley at the end of my signal chain as an attenuator of sorts.

I was thinking about putting a switchable volume control on the output of this buffer, good idea? Just a 100kA pot hooked up to a spdt. I plan on putting the buffer near the end of my chain (post wah/fuzz/boost/drive/distortion) but before any modulation (which I don't have any that I like at the moment).

Also, has anyone done a Vero layout for this circuit with a quad opamp like a LM324? I think I might do one just for practice and to compare to the dual opampx2 option.

Thanks!

I would think that a volume control will work just fine.  As for a vero layout, I'm not one of those.

Thanks man, I wasn't sure about it in relation to the buffer.
