Has anyone ordered PCBs to be made in China?

Just wondering if this is something I should be looking at, but it's a big unknown to me.  What are minimum orders like? 25? 50 units?  If anyone has experience, can you describe the process or recommend a manufacturer?  Thanks!

All my PCBs are made in China. I use a seller I found on eBay as they do special deals for boards less then 100x100mm, or less than 100x150mm, etc. But you can have any size you want. Just search for "pcb prototype service" on eBay and you'll find lots of sellers.

All I do is email them the gerber files and quantity (plus any special instructions if you have them, like heavier copper or gold plating), and they respond with a quote. If I'm happy with it I send them money through Paypal and a couple of weeks later they arrive (they usually offer tracked shipping).
Smallest quantity I have ordered is ten. I don't think there's any upper limit. I've ordered 100 of some.

I have ordered PCBs from china for years now. Lately I've been using Elecrow https://www.elecrow.com/pcb-prototyping.html It's cheap and the quality is good. In the past I have used Itead but it's a little bit more expensive.

be aware...

if you order a 'certain' weight, you WILL get charged 'customs duty/taxes'
so check your countries ''weight before taxes'' limit.

i got stung with this a while back..37 quid (uk). or they wouldn't deliver.. 

lesson learned, i order in smaller batches seperately now.  
takes a little longer, but i prefer to spend that 37 quid on my favourite whiskey..

They're called Wondom, or possibly SureElectronics. You know what Chinese sellers are like! This is one of their listings:

I use two different PCB fab's. If I'm ordering in small numbers 10-20 I use http://dirtypcbs.com/ which are good for speed when I am prototyping a design (sometimes the silk screen is a little blurry on one or two boards). I am hoping to try out their assembly service soon.

If I need a bigger order for 100+ I use www.pcbcart.com as the quality has always been 100% with these. Although they are starting to get a little more expensive. EDIT, I have just checked the price again on pcbcart and it looks like they are a lot cheaper again.

Both these offer instant online pricing.

That doesn't happen in the States. I've ordered rather heavy boxes of ceramic magnets and plastic pickup covers. [emoji3]
