  Hi guys, I finally finished everything on my 'vibe and decided I wanted to do some mods on it.
  So I had everything running cool, and proceeded with the volume/gain mods.
I used 1/4 watt carbon film 5% resisitors...I changed R8 to 820 OHM (didn't have the 910 available) and the R9 to 3.6k.  It was a subtle gain, but effective.
Next, I proceeded to change the speed or rate resistors so I changed R42 and R43 to 2.2K.
Now before all this, I have to mention I did Steve B's "simplified offset mod"  which worked very well.
But while I was tweaking with the trimpots and potentiometers and playing thru it, I can't remember if I suddenly increased or decreased the speed on the speed/rate pot, when the "vibing" stopped.  I checked the bulb and it's still glowing but it's not pulsing.  There's sound but the phasing is very very slow and the depth and speed/rate pots don't respond.

I did some probing and here are the readings:

Q1
E= 1.4
B= .83
C= 2.06

Q2
E= 1.44
B= 2.06
C= 4.76

Q3
E= 4.18
B= 4.76
C= 10.32

Q4
E= 4.26
B= 4.26
C= 15.05

Q5
E= 3.62
B= 4.26
C= 11.42

Q6
E= 4.23
B= 4.23
C= 15.06

Q7
E= 3.59
B= 4.23
C= 11.44

Q8
E= 4.25
B= 4.26
C= 15.06

Q9
E= 3.61
B= 4.25
C= 11.43

Q10
E= 5.28
B= 5.28
C= 15.06

Q11
E= NO READING (-1)
B= 18.74
C= NO READING (-1)

Q12
E= 16.36
B= NO READING (-1)
C= NO READING (-1)

Q13
E= 3.62
B= 3.91
C= 11.42

  Since I'm a total noob, I may have thge answer laying in front of me but I just wouldn't know.  Please help! Thanks!

 :)  OK guys, I tried replacing Q12 and Q11 and it worked!  Dunno why they failed though.  Does it make a better difference if I use 5088's?
