It makes me sad that i cant find electronic parts at my country... things i need to build and learn about effects  for myself, and i stumble upon this page... by some guys selling all ripoffs, of runoofgroove-ggg-etc circuits...

This is a perfect example of how even in places where its next to impossible to find all components to build a single box there is always people that try to get rich on the stomp-box market :icon_lol:

Hi
Well, the Internet, like Pandora, opened the box and the secret of how to design guitar effects sort of leaked out to all who wanted to know witch in my point of view is a good thing. This will drive two things, ingenuity and quality. Some will try to sell cheap no good stuff while others will focus on quality. This competition will drive a third group to develop things that are beyond what's out there today. The link you posted are probably (my Spanish is a bit off) an example of the first group. Fulltone of the second and Line6 of the third. It's a little as downloading music from the Net for "free" This has pushed the artists out on the road so that we all can enjoy much more good music live then has been the case since the late 60:s.
About how to source stuff. I live in Sweden in the north of Europe. I buy stuff from all over the world. From US (Smallbear) and locally and within EU (Germany mostly) and South Korea. Always on the Internet always Credit card if the security is acceptable. Haven't been screwed even ones yet.

The only bad sounding stomp box is an unbuilt stomp box. ;-)
