HI. I built the mini booster, boutique version, from GGG
http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/pdf/ggg_joam_sc_amz.pdf

I did not have a 3,3 uF NP (C2), so I used a 4,7 electro instead. The booster actually sound pretty good as it is, but I´m curious. What will change If I put in a 3,3 NP? The behaviour of the tone knob? When looking for 3,3uf NP, should I just go for a typical film cap, or is it supposed to look something like an electro?

Thanks

You might lose a little fatness with a smaller cap (but not much, 4.7uF should be fine).  Usually the uF range caps do look like, and actually are, electros.  Looks like pretty much anything will work in that position, though.

thanks :) . I found a 3,3uf tantal in the bottom of my drawer... I´ll try that and see if the cirquit gets more "fatness"

You may not even notice anything!  Many times it's ok to sub in a cap up to 100% the value of the one called for (unless it's in a 'senstive' circuit like a tone control or filter).  Should work fine!
