First post, really great forum .I've been lurking for a while gather info to build a Fuzzface which I finish using a Hammond 1590B enclosure ,tonepad board and trim pots on both Q1C & Q2C. Sounds great however now I'm thinking of having the trimmers permanent as its very handy but would like to bring them to the outside, not sure what type to use and how to mount them. Any ideas?

thanks

Just replace the trimmers with regular potentiometers of the same value and wire them up to the outside.   ;)

Yeah I was thinking something like that but its a tight fit in there, it might work though..

I'll have to hit the mouser catalog, if there is such a thing maybe a screwdriver shaft mini pot on the front of the box. ah heck I can just dremel the thing

Maybe mount them on the side of the box?

get a bigger box. i think you can still squeeze in four pots in a regular 3x4x1 something.
i am what i am, so are you.

wanted a smaller box for this one, going on a mini board I'm throwing together. Might have to live without trimmers on this one though I see some 9mm Alpha pots that look interesting.
