I have this old Behringer mixer that doesn't work, model MX 1602A.
There are three voltage regulators in there, badly soldered to the board. One of them broke, so I'll have to replace it (along with the other two).
They are:
KA 7915
ML 7815
JRC M7039J

I can find the first two, but not the 7039. Not even in google. Has it been discontinued? Is there an equivalent part?

I'd suppose it's a special regulator to give you the, whats it called, thats it, phantom power. So if you trace ahead of it and see where it goes it might just be that. A high voltage for powering up condensor mic elements. And if you trace forward you might find they've used an extra outer winding of the transformer to get about 28VAC or they've got a doubler piggybacked on the +15V to ground.

But then again it might be something else. Could even be a 5V for logic. See what it does?
Monkey see, monkey do.

Thanks for the info, but what I'd like to know is whether there's an equivalent part out there, because I can't find this specific part for sale.
Not even a datasheet.
