hello, i'm new here.

I am interested in building my own pedals (especially wah's). I wil start with something simple a colorsound inductorless wah and then progress to the DOD FX-17

However there is a board I found of another wah I only have this picture (link) is it possible to figure the circuit diagram out from this foto? I know a lot of info is not visible
Like wich opamps and ic,s are used.

i hope someone could help out.

thx, E.

Slow down - like you said, you're new to this. Build your Colorsound wah first.

That board has a lot going on and a lot of parts that aren't easily identifiable. The only way that's going to be properly traced is by/with the help of someone who can physically hold it.

And do you know if it sounds any good?
Bringing you yesterday's technology tomorrow.

yes it does its the board of the venerable emb audio remote wah

I, too, think it's not possible to trace this effect just based on the photo. There seems to be traces on the backside of the board as well, some of which are invisible. Also, the cap, transistor and some other component values are not visible.

hmm....bummer gues i'll just keep on dreaming then  :icon_wink:

Certainly keep dreaming, but also keep an eye out for pictures.  It does happen that people trying to sell something on E-bay will post pictures of the board, and sites dedicated to a given product line will also post nice detailed pictures that permit some reverse engineering.
