I have a CE-2 that I built on the Tonepad PCB.  I like it, but I'm putting it into a bigger dual enclosure with another effect...  To cut down on the number of jacks being used, I have to ask: the CE-2 should run fine at 12v, correct?  There's really nothing in there that's going to fry at that voltage (MN3007 and MN3101 are both rated for 18v on their data sheets), so it should be safe to give it a try, yes?

I run mine from a regulated 12v supply with a PT-80 and a Tonepad Ropez in the same box - no problems at all, in fact I'd assume it gives a bit more headroom than 9v.

Look and an original Ce-2 schem and add R 53 and D5 to your pedal, I don't see it on the tonepad schem. Then you should be able to run it at 12v.

There is no reason why it should not run just fine with a 12v supply, but the bias may need some tweaking.  Keep in mind it is derived by dividing down the supply voltage, so when you change the supply voltage, you change the derived fraction.  I can't imagine it would be too far off, and even if it was, it is fairly easy to set by ear.
