Yep. I noticed that yesterday night. I didn't see that until yesterday in axiomdrift's PCB image (just below r5,  c8, r6 & c9), there are pads for a 14 pin SMT chip in the upper right side of the photo. That is the zone that is concealed with the black plastic cover in mine. It seems that J. Luja broke the chip when he took off the cover.

That must be the dual op-amp.

By the way, I tried yesterday using a TL062 for IC4 as suggested by Vasiliok (sorry for the confusion  :oops: ). I think I hear a *slight* difference in tone, for worse, as well as a very slight increment in hiss.

As soon as I get a couple of TLC2262C I'll put 'em in IC2 & IC3 and I'll report here.

And Pin 3 and 5 of IC1 interconnect ?

I use tonepad schematic no problem at all  I dint know about Axiom.
