I'm told the peppermill is a pretty cool overdrive circuit for a beginner project, apologies for being a dense newb at this but in the gallery layouts, where is the OUT for the Peppermill circuits?

The Peppermill output is taken from lug 2 of the Volume pot.  Remember, layouts should always be used in conjunction with the schematic.

Thanks - on a bit of a learning curve here ;)

I just breadboarded the Peppermill the other day.  Nice sounding OD.  It's more tame than alot of other overdrives but it can drive bar chords nicely.  It also has a bluesy lead sound.   I have a cool enclosure for it too.  An old Digitech switchbox pedal.

Excellent - I'm looking for a less fizzy, more natural sounding bluesey amp-driven-to-breakup sort of sound, so this appears to fit the bill perfectly.
I have a little RadioShack wireless hub case to build mine into, may leave the little rubber aerial attached so the other band members think i've gone wireless.

Makes a really nice boost to overdrive a tube amp, also.

Also I suggest the latest version of the R.O.G. Mockman 2. This is a nice sounding OD.  Fairly simple build.  All components I bought at RS.
