weird mod on Proco Rat... help

I'm modding my first pedal, a Proco Rat Clone.

after doing a lot of mods it hits me a question...  

looking a lot of schematics , after the LM308 and before the Clipping section, is a 1K resistor and a 4,7uF electrolitic Cap.

Tonepad Schematic shows the 1K after the Cap....

others show the resistor before the cap....

what does this affect tod the cliping or sound of the PEDAL?

It doesn't make any difference what order the 4.7uF cap and the 1k resistor are in

Yep!

Its just a little filter. As long as there is nothing (no connection/node) inbetween the cap and resistor it dosent matter the order of them.
