i was thinking about buying it, they're quite large boards, i could probably cut it to make 3 boards out of it depending on the effect. anyone think it's useful besides me? should i not use it?

It works fine, i prefer it to stripboard (vero), where you always have to remember to cut the strips in the right places. Also, this gives you more flexibility IMO, as you don't have to design around certain strips which you have dedicated to some task.

I like single hole per pad, but I know people that like the 3 hole stuff.  I have a circuit built with it and not many complaints, just a little more difficult when you have to have 5 or 6 connections all in one place.  But that may just be me.

in my experience, which is a bit limited, i don't have more than 4 connections in one spot. you could use a component leg to jumper 2 pads together, it would just simplify the circuits i'm mid attempt with. take my dist+ i am using a 1p12t for clipping options i could put the ends on one of the pads and the jumper to the throw on the third hole of the pad. just a thought on it, should i order a few with some ribbon cable to test for myself?
