I'm a noob and have (probably) a very stupid question.
I got the new EH Deluxe Memory Man from a friend (that doesn't work...again god damn it! :-).
It has the dry signal no matter which postition the switch is in.
Led also doesn't work, and the clipping led lits for a second when you turn the power on.
there's a trace cut on the pcb (intentionaly or not I don't know...)
Any smart thoughts?
Before I start probing this? (I know I'm a lazy bastard  ::))

Hmm, you could try checking the switch to see if it's broken.  Can be done with a DMM, with the power disconnected...check that continuity is 'flipping' when you stomp the switch.  Most problems like that tend to be in the switch, pounded on for years.

Then some audio probe work, followed by voltage measurements.
Is it line-powered, or does it have a DC adaptor?  If line powered, be careful in there!
Don't know why there's a trace cut, maybe you could put up a pic of that area of the board?

Got it working, a diode was missing  (but it behaves strangely).
Any ideas on how to setup the trim pots inside?
There's no manual for that anywhere...
