Pot value for a Boss/Roland EV7 type expression pedal?

I've got an extra volume pedal that I want to make into an expression pedal for my space chorus- just need to know what value pot to put into it.  Anyone have aschem/know the value/have an EV7 that they can open up and lookat or even just measure the resistance of at the heel and toe?

I found this on the web; I guess it was a little more than just one pot- simple none the less.  I built it and it seems to do the job just fine.  I'm assuming the EV5 and EV7 are basically the same thing, since it would seem you can use them interchangeably.  I can't believe they have the stones to charge $200 for the EV7.  That's just asinine.  Just thought I'd post this in case anyone else came looking for the same info.
