made up my mind on this chip amp[lm3886]

I decided to jump right in and go for the lm3886. I have the transformer [transformers] actually and boning up on  power supplies. I have been reading rdv posts at SSguitar and Elliot Sound Products. I have the technology now and going to do this right. Chips are on the way.Most of the items I already posses. Some largish electro caps from an old stereo, heat sinks, I am going to fab. in our shop.

You might want to think twice about using salvaged electro caps, unless you're salvaging them from something that was made very recently.  They have a failure rate that increases exponentially with time
