Tightening The Hex Nut On A Stomp Switch

I thought of using an automotive ratchet for this, liked the action and looked for one with a relatively small head. Now in stock:

I know that there are imported full sets available for less, but many have long handles and the sort of big, clunky head that you want for working on lug nuts. This one is scaled for a small chassis.

Someone is bound to ask whether I can get an attachment for this that will work on a Carling-type dress nut: I dunno. There is a machine shop near us that does a lot of CNC milling; I will show them a switch and the tool and ask what it would cost to make a socket (or maybe a little brass adapter that could be epoxied into a socket) for the purpose. A few hundred bucks is a no-brainer; a few thousand, I gotta think about.

Anticipating other questions: Other diameters of sockets are very much available, and they are also made in a 2" length. Let me know the needs in your shops.
