Build report: Mutantes Fuzz

I have 2222 for Q1 and 2n3904 for Q2 its better, but......
Anyway I have moved  on and built another different fuzz face that works pretty good :icon_lol:

Thanks for everyones input and help. I learned a LOT about tranistors and biasing with that circuit.

I recently built this fuzz - not the original one in the article, but the schem posted at the start of this thread.

Looking at the article, there is mention of adding a knob between the diodes and the output that acts like a waveshaper - I am confused by that - where would it actually go? Isn't the volume knob already between the diodes and the output? The diagram at the end isn't clear as to where in the circuit it would go.

Did he mean before the diodes? Like between the second 10uF cap and the diodes?

I think you have to cut the trace before the diodes run into the 22k resistor, and then run a pot between the trace cut and the diode connection.
