Will the cable be used in side a guitar pedal or will it be use for guitar cables? Mark Hammer made a good point about Military spec parts, he said these days the average quality of electronic components is so high that mil spec doesn't mean as much as it once did. If your talking vintage parts mil spec may be built to higher standards.
Class A booster , Dod 250 , Jfet booster, Optical Tremolo, Little Gem 2,  mosfet boost, Super fuzz , ESP stand alone spring reverb red Llama omni-drive , splitter blender ,

NEVER use gorilla glue for guitar repairs! It's Titebond , Elmers, or Superglue

from what I've read and from what I've heard on here, going "mil-spec" will only really help you if you are looking through NOS parts.  Newer manufacturing process have drastically increased the reliability of parts to the point where "regular" is where "mil-spec" used to be.

You're welcome! The web pages are quite static but the inventory is pretty dynamic so a phone call could reveal many good things. Steve's a good guy to deal with!

Take care,
