hi, can you wire a DPDT to be a DPST ?

hi folks ,
can this be done? i have a dpdt but my wah needs a 4 lug dpst only. i dont want / need true bypass and the dpdt wired normally is causing a loss of signal .

You just use the 2 middle lugs and 2 of the outside lugs. Depending on how the switch needs to be wired you'll need to figure out which outer ones to use because it might not be the same for both halves.
