Anyone buy one of these yet?  just curious what circuit it may be based from......DS1?
I'm sure there must be something here that would do what this does and probably better!

Had one of these pass by me today. Horrible.... 
Very thin, useless tone knob, same ol...

I opened it up and socketed every cap that was not smd. My final result resulted in fuller, more realistic crunch with a very usable tone control.

All Metal Film.
c1=.1
c3=.22
c10=.01
c11=1uf
c14=1uf

D5=red led
d4=3 way toggle. 2 red leds in parallel. 2 1n4001's in parallel.
