Relocating bass and treble controls

Hi and help.

I am wanting to build the colorsound overdriver using this layout

I want to remove the normally mounted bass and treble controls and either patch the layout so the bass and treble or neutral or have
a board mounted pot that I can alter with the back off the unit. The latter is preferable and I guess a trim pot is the item I need but I'm unsure which
pad on the layout would go to which leg on a trim pot.
