Rapid and Maplin do Eddystone enclosures perfect for pedals, Eddystone are a division of Hammond I think.

I favour the 120 x 95 x 30mm boxes.  Plenty of space for lots of controls - and will just about fit a DPDT switch height-wise.

They're easy to work with too.

Rapid are good for pretty much everything

They do DPDT footswitches for £1.50 as well. And valves etc, although they aren't the best value for them.
