How to measure voltages in BSIAB2????

Just want to make sure I'm measuring voltages under the right "conditions."

1.  Should a cable be plugged into the pedal input jack?

2.  Should the pedal be in "bypass" mode or "effect on" mode?

3.  Should the battery used be as close to 9v as possible?

1. If you are using a stereo jack to disconnect the battery's ground lead when there's no input jack plugged in, then you'll need to have that jack in there. If not, it doesn't matter.

2. Doesn't matter either way.

3. Yes.
