I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to squeeze a bit more gain out of this circuit snippet...

I would think increasing R12 would increase gain.

yes, r12 could help, but the picture is too partial, and can´t really descifer what´s the other pot doing

Yep, increase R12, or decrease R10/R11, or increase C7, or decrease R6, or...
