Using the same germanium transistors on a treble booster

Is it possible to use the same germanium transitors as i used on the fuzz face?

they sound pretty good in a rangemaster circuit. a bit different from most OC types, though. Not much, but they're missing a certain sonic quality I associate with the OCs. Hard to describe..
In a fuzz face they sound very different from the NKTs. Not as dark and they have almost octave-like overtones. And they hardly clean up when lowering the volume on the guitar.
