All the sound clips sound great. I didn't know that by just changing Q and freq. range you could get all those sounds, especially the phasey kind of stuff. Anybody know what's going on in this circuit? There is a basic circuit board showing some of the componants in the manual PDF and it looks a lot more complex then any crybaby or vox wah I've ever seen.

Any ideas what this is?

I would be very interested in checking one of these wahs out.

It's probably a lot like this but with added controls:

Thanks! I'll have to find some sound files of that and see if there is anything similar.

Well, Steve Vai's wah sounds are from this pedal if that helps. The heart of the circuit is basically a Vox Wah. I've modified mine (which I got on e-bay for $40) to have a more vocal sound replacing resistors and the transistors. I'd like to replace the inductor with a halo, but I'm not sure it will fit. I have a fasel yellow and red that I'm going to try just for kicks, but I'm pretty satisfied with the tone with the few mods I have done.

That silvermachine wah looks cool! Dig the sound samples at their site too.
