I have a reissue phase 90 and the phasing is kind of intense where it gets kind of "twinge-y" at the top of its sweep and sharply phases back down if you guys know what i mean. would getting a set of matched FETs mellow this guy out?

I thought matched FET's was a requirement for best operation.

You have a reissue P90 that you think doesn't have a matched ( or at least bucketed ) set in it?

Your description sounds more like it's breaking into near-edge oscillation with the feedback setup inside. I'd swap it for a good one before going into tinkering mode.
