ummm...yea. rather odd.

after i completed this pedal i was working on today i coated the terminals and bottom of a dpdt switch to secure the wires, and, it almost completely dampened the "true bypass pop" when it was dry....just putting it out there. maybe it was some other factor that i am failing to see.

here's a gutshot so you guys can see what i am talking about:

Did it pop before the glue?

yep.

i had it unscrewed in between though. so it could be that too. next build i will test before and after and report.

Yeah, hot glue is handy stuff. When I mod danelctro pedals with all of those small connections I glue the wires on the board for strain relief. I use a little  Garlilla glue on x wing switches it keeps the terminals from melting , those things are touchy.
Class A booster , Dod 250 , Jfet booster, Optical Tremolo, Little Gem 2,  mosfet boost, Super fuzz , ESP stand alone spring reverb red Llama omni-drive , splitter blender ,

NEVER use gorilla glue for guitar repairs! It's Titebond , Elmers, or Superglue
