Hey, this doesn't look half bad! (Tonepad TS808 content)

I populated a board tonight... Tonepad "El Griton" (The Screamer)







I took the second picture after I found the little 0.1uF film cap that fell off the desk haha.  It's built to TS808 specs and I'm going to have a switch to add a third diode for asymmetrical clipping.  I have a whole bunch of dual opamps that I'm going to try out.  I think the only problem I came across was how to orient the tantalum caps.  I could have solved that problem a lot quicker if I'd ordered film caps for those instead!  Oh well, it should sound great when I get it all wired up.

On second thought, I did have a problem with solder sticking to the pads at first... but it went away when I switched to a roll of solder that was smaller in diameter, didn't look dull, and wasn't from Radio Shack.  I'm not sure if that's coincidence or not!
