cathexis ada flanger vero manual pot

Hi. Building the ada flanger from this enormous vero layout.

It´s a complicated build, so I wanna be sure about something before I power it up. The manual pot has a connection to the board from lug1 and two connections from lug 3?  isn´t the middle lug supposed to be connected somewhere? or am I missing something obvious

To the control jack (jack 3) Am, I right? Not that good with schematics. I´ve used a stereo-switching-type jack.
I´m a bit confused about the connections to this jack?
