Can someone make me a pcb layout?

I found the schematic for the Okko Diablo, and would love to build this. But, I do not know how to layout out a pcb board. I have etched about (20) from others layouts and have no problem with the etching. Would someone here be kind enough to do the layout if I e-mailed it to them? Also I do not know how to attach in this forum.

Thanks
Rob

I'll have a go. And you just post your jpeg, or whatever, in a photohosting place... or go to the memebers section and find the post "post your schematics here" and the click the image tab, second along on the bottom row just above the icon line and paste in the http address for the image.

Just click my name and my email address is on that page.

Your e-mail address is hidden.

I am blind, where is the member section? I will keep looking for this post your schematics here.

I think I got it in the Gallery. Type in Okko, click on "no thumbnail", and click "download document". The circuit looks very interesting.

Thanks!!!

Well done, things like this, for me, become rather long and skinny, because the layout beomes somewhat like a reflection of the schematic with the V+ up the top and the earth at the bottom... and just carries on accross the PCB... then I find a box that fits it as opposed, I suppose, to normal procedure which would be to decide on a box and then design where the various bit will go in the box.... and hopefully have enough room for a PCB.... or maybe 2 in this case.

Theres enough here for you to figure it out. It's not perfect but it's actually a little more than I use as a project file. Let us know how you go and please be so kind as to publish your artwork when its ready for the copper so others can benefit too.

Thanks for this, but I was looking more for the pcb transfer layout. I tried to make one using the Eagle software, but did not work.

Well my friend, I downloaded DIY layout creator and it's a time consuming process which, in the two instances I used it, kinda crashed after lots of components and stopped showing anything but traces. I might get Eagle lite later on today but it'd still be a time consuming process learning how to work that.

So maybe you're going to have to pull finger and keep going till you get what you want, under your own supervision, because eventually you'll get there. :icon_biggrin:

I don't know how eagle works yet but I'm not at all convinced that these programs offer anything better than what I can do with a pencil and paper. The pen and paper has drawbacks, meaning I have to start from scratch fairly often, but I can keep those sketches alongside as I try again and even use rubbers to start again. 6 of this and half a dozen of the other I suppose.
