As far as I know there is no one stop diy pedal build for a reverb stompbox.  There are driver circuits that you can build to drive spring can setups.  I think there is a digital IC chip that I saw floating around somewhere.

With the new Belton Reverb Brick module there are a few new designs floating around. Check out GGG's and BYOC's reveb designs. (both sound great btw)

I ave a crate g212 amp that has some issues so I'm using it as a speaker cab for my ruby. It has a spring reverb can. Where would I look to find info to use it  as a separate unit?
