This is a pedal i really would want. A simple overdrive or distortion with a blend knob "Guitar/Effect".

Is it possible to make one?

Sparkle Drive :)

--any splitter/buffer/blender should work.

So if i could find a good simple blender i could use it together with a TS-808(for example). Maybe throw in a extra footswtich to bypass the blender circuit.

I'm pretty sure the Sparkle Drive IS a TS variant. However, yes, you should be able to blend a clean signal with the effect in parallel, with a blend control to mix them.

check this out--I'm not sure if it's verified: http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/main.php/v/Toneys-Album/Buff_n_Blend.png.html

I looked around found alot of simple blenders. Just have to find a verified one.

Know any good perf or vero layouts for TS-808?

Avoid the buff and blend for this, i have had recent bad experiences with it. See this recent thread http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=79918.0 Its good but not with boosts/overdrives/fuzz. Look at the paralooper fromhttp://moosapotamus.net/THINGS/paraloop.htm. If you want to blend the clean in with the overdrive at a similar volume you will need to boost the clean signal to the same level or similar as the louder overdriven signal. Without this I find the blend knob to be useless.

Best of luck. Im building a paralooper to work with a big muff currently. Same Idea.

Hmm... A clean booster, a TS-808 and a blender in between.
That could work.
